San Lorenzo Unified School District board of trustees, regular meeting, 7:00 p.m., district offices, 15510 Usher St. (two blocks from Hesperian and Lewelling), tel. 317-6400. The board normally meets in a public "study session" at 4:15 p.m., prior to any scheduled closed ("executive session") meetings. Tree Advisory Board, 3 p.m., Room 230, Alameda County Public Works building, 951 Turner Court, Hayward (turn from Hesperian Blvd. near Chabot College). The board is appointed by the county board of supervisors to advise the Public Works Agency director on enforcement of the county's Tree Ordinance, which regulates trees in private front yards that are within a county right of way. County Board of Supervisors Committee on Unincorporated Area Services, 6:30 p.m., San Lorenzo Library 395 Paseo Grande (one-half block from Hesperian Blvd.). This committee is composed of the two supervisors who represent unincorporated areas in Eden Township, including Ashland, Cherryland, and San Lorenzo. Regular meetings are usually held on the fourth Wednesday of each month, except in August and December. The meeting location alternates between San Lorenzo and Castro Valley.
